Graphics evaluation

I have enjoyed graphics, finding the work easy to understand and do. I decided to drop the last project , the kinetic typography because i didn't really understand it. I think overall i enjoyed the minimalist poster project the most because it involved drawing and different media (Collage, paint, crayon) and liked that it was based around a favourite film.

The other work like the logo project was ok, some parts i found rather hard. If I could change anything, i think i would have gone into more detail in all of the projects and would have tried to understand them a bit better.

I didn't like that most of my work was basic and i think there could have been more written work as there was more images over all. I am happy with the amount of work i have done in graphics but i do think there is room for improvement. I have been told my work is easy to understand and i have met what is needed to get in the course.

What i didn't like was most of my work was in small paragraphs and spread out a lot and the paragraphs didn't give a lot of information on what the work was. It was basic.

What i did like though was that i used a lot of archive like youtube footage or screen shots of some of the work that i was doing.

Many of the videos are colourful and bright, the font changing size and colour depending on what is being said. All have images representing the film, like Inception would have someone sleeping.

The size of fonts also changes if the person in the dialog is shouting, whispering or talking naturally and the colour changes depending on the mood.
Like if your angry it may be red or orange. Calm and quiet could be blue ect.

The background also changes. From colours or images. Some also have parts of the film as the background with typography over the film.

This is a screen shot of an kinetic typography video. The film is inception. Each word comes up when each word is spoken.

I like how the person times the words and creates images with those words. The images represent words from  that scene of dialog so depending on what happens in that scene, the images will represent it.
